The Guest Services Cashier is a seasonal position with the possibility of transitioning into a regular part-time position after the season concludes. Guest Services Cashiers serve as the first point of contact for our guests at the Zoo’s entrances and play a key role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone who visits the zoo. They can act as Greeters, Line Captains, Rovers within the Zoo, and Cashiers for both General Admission and Oakland Zoo Member entry. These essential members of our team help connect folks to amazing experiences at the Zoo.
