Go behind-the-scenes and venture into Zoo habitats to participate in one of four different food spreads: Elephant All-You-Can-Eat, Sun Bear Buffet, or Grizzly Grub, and also, Giraffe Meet-n-Munch!

This event allows you the rare opportunity to place food around habitats before the animals go out for the day. Place produce for Osh the elephant, spread snacks for the sun bears, or toss treats around the grizzly yard. Do you love giraffe and want to help support them in the wild? We are also offering the opportunity to feed a giraffe!

Pricing:

• Oakland Zoo Members:
  • $20 per person for participation in an animal food spread
  • $25 per person for a giraffe feeding

• Non-members:
  • $40 per person for participation in an animal food spread (includes admission to the Zoo)
  • $45 per person for a giraffe feeding (includes admission to the Zoo)
  • $10 parking fee per party

Please Note: You do not need an advanced Zoo reservation if you purchase a ticket for this special experience. Quantities limited; 560 total tickets will be available for purchase. Tusker's Grill will open early - stop by to purchase coffee and pastries!

All proceeds from animal spread tickets go to support Oakland Zoo’s outstanding Animal Care work and enrichment fund. All proceeds from giraffe feedings will go towards giraffe conservation efforts.

Brunch for the Wild Brunch Rules & Regulations:

• No one under the age of 2 is allowed on habitat or on the giraffe feeding deck due to safety concerns. Guests must be 6 and older to participate in the Grizzly Grub spread.
• Guests 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult to attend.
• All guests, including supervising adults of children, must have event tickets to enter the animal habitat or participate in a giraffe feeding.
• No strollers are allowed and the animal habitats are not wheelchair accessible.
• Please note that the habitats contain uneven terrain and moderate inclines in places.
• Guests are allowed to purchase up to 6 tickets total.
• Guests may only participate in one experience since all food experiences take place simultaneously.
• Masks are required for guests participating in our grizzly bear and sun bear food spreads.
• Please note that we cannot accommodate late arrivals.
• Food for spreads will be provided - we will not be accepting produce donations.
• In the event of rain or mud, keepers will place food in animal habitats or spreads may be canceled - no rain checks given; refunds will be issued.
